All children ages 2 years old through 5th grade are invited to our Wednesday night children’s program: tied. At tied we want to train, involve, and equip parents to disciple their kids by partnering with the church.
SO WHAT is tied?
Key Components of tied:
- Large Group Worship & Teaching (Wednesday nights)
- Small Groups Discipleship & Scripture Memory (Wednesday nights)
- Family Devotions & Discipleship (At home)
Because children need help understanding that the Bible is one story with Jesus as the hero, the “Gospel Story” curriculum we use focuses on Christ and the gospel as it teaches key stories from Genesis to Revelation that highlight God’s plan of redemption.
All children in preschool through 5th grade are taught the same Bible story each week at tied, so follow-up for families with children in different grade levels is simple!
Companion devotionals, Long Story Short (Old Testament) and Old Story New (New Testament), as well as The Gospel Story Bible are excellent resources for parents as they follow the same schedule as our curriculum and all are designed to be used together.
You may purchase these resources at a reduced price in the tied office on Wednesday nights.
Time & Location
tied takes place Wednesday nights during the school year at the Danville campus (21589 Hwy 79, Danville, IA.)
