Children’s Ministry is offered for infants through 5th graders during both services at our Burlington Campus, 8:30 and 10:30a.m.

your first visit

Be sure to stop by the welcome desk on your first visit! As you enter the front doors of our facility, head straight ahead. A children’s ministry team member wearing a yellow lanyard will help you!

registration

We’ll collect some information from you on your first visit. The information you provide will be entered into our system and shared with each of our campuses; this way, you won’t need to repeat the process, should you visit a different campus in the future.

If your family has participated in another Harmony ministry, or if you’ve previously attended at another campus, let us know, as your information may already be in our system.

Please be sure to tell us about any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs your child has at the time of registration.

Security

Any time a child is checked into a children’s ministry program, identification stickers will be created for the parent and the child. These stickers display a 4-digit ID number, used to match children with their parents at the end of the service.

The child sticker (top) should be placed on your child in a visible location. The parent sticker (bottom) will be needed anytime you enter a secure children’s area; you’ll also need to present it to your child’s leader during pickup.

Communication

Occasionally we need to reach parents during the service and we attempt to do so via text. If you receive a message from HARMONYkids, please head to the children's ministry area where a team member will assist you.

Dropping off

Once your kids are checked in, a team member will help you locate their rooms.

Nursery/preschool children may be taken to their rooms starting 15 minutes prior to the service. Please take your ID sticker with you when dropping children off; because we maintain secure areas for kids, only adults with yellow lanyards (team members) or ID stickers (parents) are allowed into these areas.

For the 8:30 service, all kids—nursery–5th grade—can be dropped off starting at 8:20 a.m. K-5th graders will have their own worship time upstairs.

For the 10:30 service, K-5th graders join their parents for the first part of the service and are then dismissed to their classes about 15 minutes into the service.

Please make sure your child is wearing his/her ID sticker in a visible location and all belongings are clearly labeled. Diaper bag tags are available in check-in areas.

We encourage you to communicate instructions or concerns to your child’s leader when dropping off (bottle-feeding or potty training instructions, allergies, etc). If there are special concerns you’d like to let us know about before your visit, please don’t hesitate to contact us (email address below).

Picking Up

Parent ID stickers will be needed to enter kids’ areas and collect children at the end of the service. If you happen to misplace your sticker, please visit the kids’ check-in desk where a team member will help you.

Please note that only adults are allowed to pick up children.

Children in nurseries and preschool classes may be picked up as soon as the service is over; K-5 classes conclude at 9:50 a.m. (for the 8:30 service) and 11:50 a.m. (for the 10:30 service).

Accommodations

A nursing room and a family area (with live-stream of the service) are available for parents. A team member wearing an orange lanyard will be happy to point you to these areas on your first visit.
