Global Priorities

Developing Global Christians

We desire to help our people grow in their knowledge and understanding of God's word, and get involved in doing God's global work. This is accomplished by praying, sending, and going:

  • All Nations: Pray, Send, Go!: This 6-week class explores the reason for missions, the work that still needs to be completed, and what Harmony is doing to be involved. We dig into Scripture to discover God's heart for All Nations to know Him as He truly is; we look at what progress has been made to reach All Nations; we consider what Scripture says about how to make disciples among different people groups; and we challenge you to be involved in a greater way by praying, sending, and going. You can register here when a class is available.

  • Multigenerational Mission Trips: A great way to understand God's world and the unfinished work to be done is to experience it for yourself. Our trips are designed — in cooperation with Field Staff and Global Partners — to expose you to the work that Harmony is involved with and to grow your heart to be more engaged in it. We offer multiple trips each year and encourage families to go together when possible. There is a minimum age for trips, depending on location and cooperating organizations.     We also offer trips for high schoolers involved in Student Ministry. Visit their page for more information about when and where our students meet. 

  • Global Extras & Prayer: Much is happening in the world of missions, and prayer is the most important tool we have. This is a text group (with occasional email) that offers bonus content for what is taking place in Global Ministries at Harmony. Receive updates on current events and learning opportunities, along with reminders and updates to prompt your prayers. Sign up here.

  • Global Gathering: Every month our Nurture Program participants connect and are encouraged by what God is doing through our Field Staff and Global Partners. You are invited to connect with current Field Staff, as well as those who Harmony is preparing to be sent out. Email goglobal@harmonybiblechurch.org for more information.

Field Staff Care

Field Staff and Global Partners are an extension of our church, and we take their care very seriously. The primary way you can be involved in supporting them is through prayer; look for prayer cards with current requests in your campus foyer.
