Elect Exiles

This series, an in-depth study of 1st Peter, seeks to show us how believers today can learn from Peter’s teachings to the early church. This letter was written by Peter, one of Jesus’s twelve disciples to Christians in multiple different provinces of the Roman Empire. At the point of writing, these groups of early Christians were experiencing some of the most intense persecution in the history of the Church. Peter’s purpose in writing to them and ultimately the message to the modern church is simple; declare the grace of God so that ultimately we can stand firm in it.
