The book of Psalms. These ancient Hebrew poems would have been the main worship songs that Jewish people sang for centuries awaiting the coming Messiah. Jesus Himself would have sang these songs during his childhood. However, while they were indeed the songs that He would have sung, each Psalm is ultimately all about Him. The study of them ultimately serves to further reveal the saving work that He came to accomplish.
